Maxi dresses like this one have lots of layering potential -- pair one with a jean jacket for structure, a sweater for warmth, or nothing at all for a chic summer look! I pretty much grabbed whatever outerwear I had laying about my room to bring this easy ensemble into fruition. I gotta say though, the accessories are really what gives it edge. I finally invested in a new beanie (and by 'invested' I mean I went to the 99 cent store and discovered their "knit hat" aisle) so I won't be bothering you guys by wearing my signature black one on repeat anymore. Actually, most of my staple accessories make an appearance in this outfit: beanie, spiked collar, maxi circle sunglasses, studded wrist cuffs. Wish I could test out my look for a day of shopping in New York City, but, boo. I'm stuck in Vegas till I plan my next summer exodus.
FROM TOP TO BOTTOM:
Beanie - 99 Cent Store
Sunglasses - 80s Purple
Silver necklace - VANESSA MOONEY
Black cross necklace - Rings and Tings
Jean jacket - Hydraulic
Gray sweater - c/o American Apparel
Gray tank dress - YES STYLE
Black boots - Zigi, Karmaloop
You can grab this dress for $18 from the dress section over at Yes Style! Today I'm going on a staycation with my mom and sister. Pretty easy for us to get into a vacation mood since we live in Vegas. Since we're so used to the hustle and bustle of the Strip (I'm staring at it right now as I type this), we're probably going to spend our 3 days ordering room service, lounging by the pool, and exploring the on-site restaurants on shops. You're never too local to enjoy the luxuries of tourism!
Everything is infinite,
Bebe Zeva
This is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteawesome outfit! u look MUCH prettier / sexier/ more intriguing with less makeup though... i appreciate the dramatic vibe but i hope u go back to natural face w mascara & lipstick!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, what is wrong with you? Do you think that it is my goal as a fashion blogger to meet YOUR standards of "pretty" or "sexy" or even "intriguing"? My blog is about MY CREATIVE VISION, not yours! What you call a 'dramatic vibe' is my signature, everyday look. Love it or leave it. Really -- stop reading my blog if you can't handle looking a picture of me without critiquing it in some way. P.S. it's sad that we live in a society where we assume that telling someone they would look 'sexier' doing something different with their appearance is enough to change their minds. I feel objectified.
DeletePretty.
ReplyDeleteLove how edgy and comfy it is.

ReplyDeletePlus, your make up is gorgeous. And even if it wasn't, as long as you like it and the way it looks on you, it will always be ok.
