Doll

It was obviously too hot to wear this outfit in the daytime (hello, 110 degree average!) so I reserved it for a dinner outing at nighttime instead. It's been a while since I've revisited babydoll themes, especially ones entailing hair bows and mary janes! Summer lends itself to barbecues, camping excursions, music festivals and block parties -- all events that are best enjoyed in a pair of cut-offs and platform sandals. And as a consequence, I've shied away from peter pan collars and conservative blazers. But you know me... every time I recognize that I'm neglecting a theme, I get the itch to immerse myself in it all over again!

So weird how I go from wearing paisley bandanas and Hawaiian t-shirts to THIS.

    I love how with nearly every babydoll outfit you layer your necklaces like crazy. it's a odd combination with cutesy peter pan collars but it works so damn well :)

    I love these really hot looks when its burning up outside! Who cares if its summer lol! I do the same thing all time. Then you walk outside and you see why people wear shorts!
