MY BIG SWE▲†ER

Okay, I lied, it's not actually MY sweater. I borrowed it from Travis and never quite gave it back... but who can blame me?? It's large, in charge, cuddly, warm, and knit to perfection! It matches everything and has become my stand-by outfit fundamental whenever I'm in doubt. I've worn this sweater to the downtown arts festival and to 'school' for a slow study day. I can dress it up and dress it down and do whatever I want and it makes me so happy!!!!

This outfit is from a few nights ago when I spent the evening out in the city with my sister Rachel and friends Jordan + Travis. It was actually Christmas day, but since none of us are religious, we spent it at Hooters.

Without the shoes, hat, and jacket, my outfit could have EASILY served as pajamas. One day I'm going to fall asleep wearing this t-shirt and jeggings and wake up fully dressed.

This peace sign shirt by Wildfox Couture is another gift from Seventeen magazine... I'll show you the rest as soon as I can, cross my heart and hope to die!

GODSPEED GIRL

I'm back again with a pastel palette and ethereal atmosphere. The color scheme reminds me of an innocent autumn, very soft and romantic.

From top to bottom:

I extend BOUNDLESS thanks to Seventeen Magazine for sending me these breathtaking camel Jeffrey Campbell platform booties!!!! You should have seen my face when I opened the box... my eyes nearly rolled into the back of my head in sheer delight. Photos of the rest of my care package and further details are soon to follow. I LOVE YOU SEVENTEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the bag- it's a pink and blue leather Betsey Johnson purse with fringe and stitching. I love it endlessly as is, but I added a few 'personal touches' to make it more in tune with my style, like a long cross-body strap, Native American feathers and a braided bow.

The godspeed girl is quiet and aware. Behold her personal universe; she has a story she's been waiting years to tell. The godspeed girl knows of a realm that exists between the threads of a dream and when she wakes up it's the first thing she thinks of. She's intoxicated by this concept, she knows it innately and that's why she can't explain it. It's a language that defies human senses. It's a feeling and it immobilizes her. The godspeed girl only worships the vagueness of infinity and the fleeting nature of lightness. She transcends this dimension. Godspeed girl forever wants more.
