SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE!!!!

Hello and happy new year! I wanted to wait until 2011 officially commenced to announce that I've been featured in SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE!!!! The spread introduces 'style crushes' who blog about fashion religiously. Pick up a copy of the February Beauty Issue next time you're at the store! Leighton Meester graces the cover and I'm on page 30! The staff also sent me this DREAMY care package. I am in complete and utter bliss!!!!

3 Wildfox shirts, Oakley Sunglasses, gold bracelets, TEMPTU temporary tattoos (my favorite thing in the world), Two Faced red lipstick, Jeffrey Campbell Vienna platforms, Twiggy Seventeen cover c. 1967

To say that this is simply a dream come true would be an understatement. I've never been one to settle for just dreams- my desires manifest themselves in elaborate tales that I work to realize every second of every day. It's life-affirming to see those efforts coalesce into something as incredible as a magazine spread. And not just any spread! A spread in a magazine that I've been reading since the sixth grade. I can't say that this is the product of my work alone. I would be nowhere if it weren't for the people who read my blog and expressed interest in my words and visions. Fated to be Hated is barely three months old (I started in October) and I'm already experiencing the warmth of a growing community. Thanks for supporting me and stopping by every once in a while. There's not one individual reader that I don't appreciate immensely. Everlasting gratitude goes out to Seventeen Magazine for selecting me for this piece. Words will never begin to describe the sensation that is bubbling within me. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!

In celebration of 2011, here are a few photos of my New Years outfit.
