STEVEN TYLER

Yeah, I really went there! I'm in Aerosmith territory now, so get on my level and walk THIS way, y'all! I received this pair of leather True Religion pants from the LOOKBOOK.nu x eBay fashion collab and am working them the one and only way I find fitting: like a legend of rock. They fit like a glove - a fingerless leather glove, rather, and are probably the coolest things to have ever entered my denim drawer. Besides a pair of flame-print vinyl flares, but those are a little too 'pyro' to be considered practical (or fashion-friendly, if you want to be fair.) There's only one accessory I'm missing here, and it's a microphone. It also wouldn't hurt to hook up the botox and rhinoplasty so I can look as perfect as Steven Tyler in his golden age.

Ankle boots - Goodwill

My feather clip and shark tooth necklace are from a jewelry and headwear line called ROCK N ROSE that I've been repeatedly featuring in my Polyvore collages as of late. I think the only instance in which a feather hair clip and earring are acceptable is when they're worn in an homage-to-classic-rock context. The whole idea of a "free-spirited at music festival" theme is too played out. I'd like to see more unique interpretations of feather, bone, and tooth accessories. This one's all for you, Steven. ROCKIN THEM TRUE RELIGIONS LIKE IT'S NOBODY'S BIZ... BECAUSE IT AIN'T...

BE †RUE

If you're like me and a fan of Audrey Kitching and Almost Famous, then you were probably crazy inspired by this 1970s roadie get-up she threw together using a floppy hat, drapey jacket, and leopard print dress. I decided I likewise wanted to try my luck at channeling the frisk and funk of groupie superstar Penny Lane. I ended up going a little more organic than I had originally intended, but at least the 1960s can hold a respectable light up to the style of the Seventies.

I've been in New York since Wednesday. Lived, learned, cried my eyes into swollen oblivion and laughed them back open again. Rapped my throat hoarse and danced my toes raw. Rode the train, crossed the bridge, kissed the concrete, made love to the graffiti. I'm home.

Everything is infinite,
