NOIR ET BLANC

Stepped out of my cliche clog-and-blazer pairing by sporting a pair of Steve Madden boots with a slouchy leather silhouette and low heel. I'm usually not a fan of boots unless they're matched with a variety of textures underneath (like layered tights and socks), so I chose to wear mine with black jeans and knit leg warmers. I like the combination of leather, cotton and denim. Added a few *hopefully* Parisian accents like an Eiffel tower necklace and striped t-shirt to emphasize my intended sophistication. 80s Purple sunglasses were the perfect finishing touch!

COOL KIDS NEVER HAVE THE TIME

It's 1995. Cold pizza for breakfast, burgers for lunch, and whatever I want for dinner whenever I want to eat it. Mountain dew, late curfew, skateboard and circle sunglasses. Got my flannel on and I'm ready to run. Watching the Simpsons on a school night and leaving my homework in the dog dish. School sucks, adults are lame, and the future doesn't matter. Life is what happens before the sun goes down. Kicking vending machines full-time, carving my name into school desks till the lunch bell rings. Principal in the hallway, I'm too grunge to care. Get out of my room, Mom.

FISH VEST

I'm due to post coverage of this outfit from a couple weeks ago! The event was a night out at the Vdara followed by bowling and room service with good company. I kept my spirits high with this incredible vest that I borrowed straight outta Travis' indescribably zany wardrobe. I doubt that I've ever felt more confident.

Felt a wave of nationalistic pride yesterday morning as I was getting dressed! Threw on my American flag best and paired it with the famed PALM SPRINGS PANTS designed by The Cobrasnake for RVCA. If only the average American dressed in rainbow colors and star-spangled silk prints instead of pastel cotton crew-necks and athletic shorts...
