BLACKPACK

I had the annoying backpack song from Dora the Explorer stuck in my head the entire time I was taking these pictures. But I do think my backpack deserves its own theme song. It was *ahem* $5.50 and ACTUALLY large enough to carry the 4,000 pounds of miscellaneous shit I choose to take with me to school everyday. If I see something on my way out, I'll throw it in my bag even if I can't think of a single reason why I'd need it. I think it all started in sixth grade when I was cleaning out my locker and found a paperclip on the floor. I almost threw it out, but then thought "WHAT IF I'll need this today?" because I'm obsessive compulsive and force myself to adopt extremely inconvenient superstitions. So I put it in my pocket. A few hours later, my friend's bracelet broke and I repaired it with the paper clip. I was intoxicated with pride. And ever since I've been hoarding insignificant junk in my purse just in case.

FROM TOP TO BOTTOM:
Beret - Saks Fifth Avenue
Glasses - 80s Purple, www.80spurple.com
Plaid blouse - Romwe, www.romwe.com
Knit sweater - Bill Blass
Skirt - American Apparel
Ankle boots - Goodwill

I've never understood how people can wear a clutch out in public and nothing else. It looks great but um where are you gonna put your disposable camera, your 2 pound bag of fun size Reese's peanut butter cups, and your clear purple Gameboy Advance? You need a bag large enough to carry a small dog (think teacup poodle.)

Everything is infinite,

Bebe Zeva

  6. Gorgeous! The backpack definitely deserves it's own title. It's hard to find great bags that actually carry things nowadays (or so it seems for me). I love the little plaid collar you have :)
