FLOWER CROSS

Normally when I wear a studded choker and beanie, I go hard with the 'bad girl' theme and top off the look with a pair of boots. Not today. Today I'm bad on top, good on bottom. Contrasting the severity of spikes on my neck is a friendly and unintimidating array of daisies on my chest! Tucked it into a pastel accordion skirt and literally broke out the goody two shoes for some babydoll appeal. BOOYAH, from mean and mint green to innocent as heck in two seconds flat.

In June I paired a crop top from High Heels Suicide with Doc Marten lookalikes from My Hot Shoes -- and I've decided to set the same brands up on another hot date with this look. But instead of a breezy, short-sleeve top, this shirt is a bit bulkier and a hell of a lot more floral. It looks awesome (can I say that it looks awesome without tooting my own styling horn?) with the velvet sandals I ordered from My Hot Shoes. The only thing cooler than the way these heels look is the fact that they only cost $18.99. Hear that? $18.99!!!! And they're the cutest shoes EVER! I don't get it. Really, I don't. And it hurts my brain to try and understand. Argh. Going to take some Advil and stroke my velvet platforms until I feel at peace with the world again. My happy place: Carrie Bradshaw's penthouse walk-in closet.
