MINT HIPPIE

Mmmm, as the warmer weather draws near, so does my sartorial summer inspiration! Seriously?Who am I kidding. It's cold as a penguin's balls in Vegas and I'm drawing all my spring and summer inspo from travel fantasies and exotic postcards. This ensemble isn't particularly 'island breeze,' but it certainly references the kind of free-spiritedness that intoxicates gals like me in the springtime because we're so excited finally being able to lie in the grass without shoes on. My outfit is mostly white with a touch of pastel in my mint blouse. Spearmint and sea foam are definitely the trendiest colors right about now and here I am, hoppin on the Crest and Colgate bandwagon! Whatev. The subtle color definitely suits this delicate look - lace on lace with a floral accent and my House of Harlow circle sunnies. Hippie heaven, especially considering how angelic the silhouette looks in the light!

FROM TOP TO BOTTOM:
Flower headbeand - SPROOS, http://www.sprooshop.com/products/fresh-flower-stretch-headband
Sunglasses - House of Harlow 1960, www.karmaloop.com
Lace robe - Vintage Victoria's Secret
Blouse - ROMWE, www.romwe.com (where ALL my blouses come from!! Can't help that they have the best selection.)
Skirt - Chicwish, www.chicwish.com
Clogs - Sanita, www.clogoutlet.com

Okay, #realtalk now. Let's discuss a SERIOUSLY important matter at hand: my flower headband. It's fine, it's fab, it's a lil bit funky! I'm bringin them horizontal headbands BACK and baby, I'm not ashamed... bohemia is chic. Look at how many catwalks are grazed by the hems of maxi skirts these days. Woodstock called and they want their attitude back, but they're gonna let us borrow it for just a couple more seasons.

Everything is infinite,

Bebe Zeva

  3. You look like you're modeling for Free People! This definitely feels "Spring-y." I can picture you just now frolicking across a meadow or strolling by the ocean lol. But seriously, it's so romantic and ethereal. And that combination of spearmint and sea foam...ah...it's soo (for lack of a better word) delightful. They're really dainty and delicate hues.
