Maybe I'm too into these reflective circle sunglasses? I've featured them in all three of my last outfits. I like that they're not your (unfortunately) typical pair of small black round frames. I loved pairing them with this Victorian-themed look because it added an element of antique futurism, especially characteristic of the steampunk style. Mirrored lenses aren't very old-fashioned, which is why incorporating them with fishnet and lace looks so novel. Goes without saying that novelty is VERY important to me. Hopefully I can do more with steampunk, but I think I'll need more elaborate props, like a pocket watch that turns into a mind-reading spacetime manipulator.

FROM TOP TO BOTTOM:
Fishnet cap - Roselle cottage, www.ebay.com
Reflective sunglasses - 80s Purple, www.80spurple.com
Lace choker - Roselle cottage, www.ebay.com
Blazer - Armani
Indigo top - THE FABULOUS STAINS, http://www.etsy.com/listing/90833452/steampunk-indigo-top
Wedges - Bamboo, Downtown LA
As you can see, I'm wearing yet another top from The Fabulous Stains. This one can be worn in any style at all, but since I think purple is such a royal color, I chose to do something reminiscent of "the olden days." Like 1700s. Obviously the ruffles are my favorite feature. You know what a big sleeve enthusiast I am!!!!
