KHAKI KEEN

This look is a departure from my grungy and gothic tendencies. I chose sophisticated staples from head to toe and wore it out for a night of window shopping and, funnily enough, food court fine dining. I guess I'd recommended wearing khaki pleats to an evening with "The Uppities". You know the type- perched on their high-horses and unable to recognize the greatness that is flannel tied around the waist and platform creepers. The kinda people you've been friends with since grade school that never quite hopped on the countercultural bandwagon. Deep down, I don't think you should pander to the tastes of any social circle, but if for once you're trying to dodge criticism, go for something simple, safe, and sophisticated.

Chain link shirt- ROMWE, www.romwe.com
Key necklace- Keys To My Castle, www.keystomycastle.com
Khaki shorts- ROMWE, www.romwe.com
Heels- Vera Wang

You know, it might not be my signature, but I've grown incredibly fond of khaki. But if I ever publicly announce that I'm buying a yacht and trading in all my lace socks and doc martens for Lacoste polos, please slap me in the face and take me outside for some fresh air.

Everything is infinite,

Bebe Zeva

  15. "Deep down, I don't think you should pander to the tastes of any social circle, but if for once you're trying to dodge criticism, go for something simple, safe, and sophisticated." BEBE you taught me to NEVER ever eeeeeverr objectify my style especially if it's just to avoid criticism! as a matter of fact, i usually go for something that i will have terrible stares at and dodges for! i'm so used to it now that i might as well just use it as a weapon and at my advantage! YOU taught me this! i continued repeatedly dressing how i wanted to which is considered 'outside' of the social circle here and what's considered the norm and it just began getting easier to not care what anyone thought. what is that :( it contradicts what i have on my mind every time i sit down and stare at my closet to think of something nice! haha. this is great anyways. all your outfits are great! but that little end part just bugged me a little. i'm sure you don't really read ALL of your comments, especially one this long and boring, but i really wanted to tell you that. AGAIN, THIS OUTFIT IS WONDERFUL!!!!!!!
