CITRUS RAVER

You might wanna throw some shades on before scrolling down because things are about to get NEON up in here. Citrus brights. Limelight. Straight up rainbow striped leopard print leggings and spiked metallic shoulders. Guess you could say my outfit inspo was literally a watermelon on acid? Elaborate array of bindis because my trip brought me closer to The Oneness and I'm all about my Ajna chakra now. Or something.

FROM TOP TO BOTTOM:
Beanie - Dollar store
Spiked sweater / tank - ROMWE
Rainbow chain - CHICWISH
Rainbow leggings - NATURAL COLOUR
Hellbounds - UNIF / SOLESTRUCK
Transparent purse - Claire's

There's only one drawback to dressing like this and it's the INSANE amount of (wasted) time spent acknowledging other people's comments and questions. Yeah yeah yeah I dress like this everyday, no I have never been to EDC, ya I've listened to the Bangarang EP a solid thirty times myself and wait a min did you just say "Tiesto" or "techno"???? Either way where is the nearest exit actually that's a rhetorical question lol see ya.

I realize that in recent months I've sort of "toned down" my style, opting for minimalist silhouettes, sparse accessories, and approachable concepts instead of the signature bohemian craziness that I've (up until this point) been known for. I believe that change is a necessary element to style, and that if somebody resists an aesthetic evolution, they're being cowardly and conservative. BUT, I also believe that changing in a way that symbolizes surrender or regression is even more cowardly and conservative. Maybe I "toned down" my style to avoid being the awkward center of attention at a time when I really just wanted to be alone with my depression. The good news is that I'm phasing out of that sadness (or at least brainwashing myself to believe that I am with cliches about the intoxicating Spring's healing properties) and am looking forward to dressing like a glittering technicolor kiwi more often. Bravery and fear can be very easily reflected through one's clothing choices, and fear is never in style. Chaos is jewelry... layering it on means you're in control and can handle "crazy."

Happy Spring!

Everything is infinite,

Bebe Zeva

  1. I doubt you wouldn't be the center of attention in this outfit :) it's explosive. I'm not a fan of leopard but these leggings are so colourful and fun, as well as the other items, I can't not like them!

  2. I do agree that you've "toned down" your style recently, I was very surprised at how casual some of your looks have been in the recent months, however you can pull off anything really well! I love this crazy color look, though!

  6. I wanted to say that you are an amazing fashion blogger! Besides your outfits, which are just stunning,I love the way you write posts. I enjoy reading them, because,it's not just about "I bought this here","I went there" and so on,your post are way more interesting then posts from some other bloggers. I admire your speaking skills, since English is not my mother language, sometimes I have to take a look in dictionary to see what's the meaning of some word (which also helps me to learn new words, and that's great).. anyway, this outfit is way too good,so colorful, and I love colors! :)

  21. Haha a watermelon on acid...love this outfit. I understand what you mean about toning down your look to avoid questions and attention, it's the last thing you need when you're feeling down but imagine how many people you made feel happy when they saw this amazing outfit!! It's worked for me anyways, think I need a trip and a whole lotta neon in my life now.
